Dogwood Technologies, LLC is the second Rural Sourcing software company created by founder Mike Bryant. His first was acquired in July 2007. Mr. Bryant formed his first Rural Sourcing company after moving back home to beautiful mountainous Kentucky from Atlanta, Georgia where he had worked for nine years as a software develoer and software architect for a number of companies.
Currently, Dogwood Technologies consists of software developers and graphic design artists working on a myriad of projects, with clients primarily outside the State of Kentucky. We believe that it is possible to have the best of both worlds-- we live in a beautiful, rural area and work on high-tech projects every day.
Our firm belief is that Rural Sourcing is the answer to many problems facing IT today. Why would a company outsource critical development and design work overseas when Dogwood Technologies has quality, experienced developers that speak the same language and (in many cases) are just a few short hours' drive away and in the same time zone? All at rates more than 50% less than the US average.
